I created my first piece of jewelry when I was just 5 years old, disassembling and reassembling my grandmothers “pop” bead necklaces to form crazy color combinations.

My fascination with beads and jewelry grew over the years. Drizzly afternoons would send me to my grandmother’s jewelry chest where beautiful old treasures lay forgotten. And I’d spend endless hours pouring through her drawers for tools and supplies. When I was 10 I sold my first necklace to my mom for $5 :) Today she is still getting her $5 worth by “borrowing” my latest creations and being my walking advertisement. Mom’s are the best aren’t they! I also took my first jewelry class and learned that art is wearable and nothing should stand in the way of your creativity.

Through college I continued to make jewelry and I gave my jewels away as fast as I strung them. When I’m not working or chasing after my very active 2 year old you can usually find me hovered around a colorful assortment of beads and supplies creating something I might wear the next day.

I sell my jewelry here on the web, at shows and some stores and a few times even right off my body ;) If you are interested in anything or just want to say Hi!, don’t be shy! Just send me an e-mail!
